That's why we need you
- As part of the expansion of our open e-health data platform, you will be responsible for the new development and further development of platform, integration and infrastructure components as a senior backend developer in a Scrum team
- You will support the technical product owners in creating user stories as part of sprint planning and participate in the functional and technical design of the software
- You will support software architecture decisions and actively contribute your experience and knowledge to our platform team and the cross-departmental backend chapter
- Thanks to your DevOps mindset, you also take operational aspects into account and always keep non-functional requirements in mind during software development
- You use common development tools for implementation, testing and documentation, as well as for work organisation
- You conduct code reviews with other developers
What you bring to the table
- You have many years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas
- A successfully completed degree, preferably with a focus on computer science or similar, or equivalent training
- You have in-depth knowledge of developing microservices with Java/Spring Boot and are well versed in container environments such as Docker or Kubernetes
- For you, software development does not end with code commit; integration and system stability are also important aspects of software development for you
- You are familiar with various database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and have experience working with scalable database systems
- You are familiar with patterns of event-driven development (e.g. message broker, event log) in stream-oriented data processing
- You are confident in using Git version control and common API testing tools, as well as REST/GraphQL interfaces
- Experience with national and international e-health standards is a great advantage (HL7 FHIR, HL7 v2, openEHR)
- Fluent German and English skills
