SORMAS

Since 2017, we have been working with HZI to develop SORMAS, an epidemic management system initially deployed to combat mpox in Nigeria. It has now been used to contain a total of 37 infectious diseases in West Africa. Up to late 2022, SORMAS was also successfully used by health boards for case and contact tracing management during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The St. Antonius Hospital in Cologne was one of the first institutions of its kind in Germany to take the next step in digitalisation as early as March 2023. The hospital is using vitagroup’s HIP CDR to store health data centrally—regardless of vendor or system.
